More than 220 stores and service points, 53,000 square metres of commercial space, perfect location, sophisticated design, underground car park in the city centre with 1,200 spaces – today at 10am sharp Galeria Katowicka has been opened. 15,500 customers have visited the centre during the first 2 hours.
There are five of those. 3-metre high high-heel shoe and three accessories that are a bit smaller: a lipstick, a coffee cup and a handbag. The last one is an enormous teddy bear in the Silesian Park. All those larger-than-life installations point to the opening of Galeria Katowicka next week on Wednesday, 18 September.
Not only the aesthetic aspects, but also special occasions such as the Day of the Polish National Flag or the World Autism Awareness Day will influence the colour of the facade illumination. One of the ideas is that the colour could reflect the weather forecast for the next day.
A nearly 30-metres high photo of Agata from Katowice to appear tomorrow on the DOKP tower block will launch the promotional campaign of Galeria Katowicka. Large format mesh banners, billboards, city lights and ads on buses and trams will all announce the opening of Galeria Katowicka in the cities of Silesia and Zagłębie. The campaign will also feature in Silesian radio stations, press and on the Web.
